Watch before the truck arrives

Note how much open floor space the setup requires and identify the point where the chair will leave its packaging. Measure your smallest opening and tightest turn against the supplier’s confirmed carton or unpacked dimensions. Arrange the required crew and equipment before delivery.

Pause when preparing to assemble

Use the manual to identify the accessories and any shipping restraints or protective material to remove. Keep fasteners organized by step, and connect any external plugs only as the manual shows. If what arrives differs from the demonstration, confirm the correct steps before proceeding.

Clear the moving area before power-up

Place the chair according to the manual. Leave room behind the backrest and ahead of the extended footrest, and route the cord away from moving parts and foot traffic. Keep people and pets clear when checking the chair’s range of motion.

Document the handoff

Save the serial number, model, a photo of the rating label and any delivery damage. If an installer is present, ask them to show how to stop and return to upright, confirm the controller responds, and record any issue before signing off.
