How to eliminate anal external hemorrhoids

How to eliminate anal external hemorrhoids

The balls formed by anal hemorrhoids are usually external hemorrhoids. If you find a ball, you must pay attention to improving your lifestyle and supplement it with medication, physical or surgical treatment. The specific method should be selected according to the severity of the hemorrhoids. If the symptoms are severe, such as persistent pain or bleeding, it is recommended to see a doctor as soon as possible.

1. Improve your lifestyle

The formation of external hemorrhoids is closely related to factors such as constipation and long-term sitting. Adjusting diet and lifestyle habits is an important measure to treat external hemorrhoids.

-Diet: Increase dietary fiber and water intake, especially eating more whole grains, green leafy vegetables and fruits, to prevent constipation. It is best to drink more than 1500-2000 ml of water per day, which helps soften stool and reduce irritation to the anus during defecation.

- Improve your living habits: Avoid sitting for long periods of time, especially those who sit in incorrect postures. You can choose to get up and move around for a few minutes every hour to reduce anal pressure. At the same time, insist on regular bowel movements, have regular bowel movements every day, and avoid excessive force.

2. Conservative treatment with drugs

Mild external hemorrhoids can be relieved with medication. Common treatments include:

-Topical hemorrhoid ointment (such as Mayinglong Hemorrhoid Ointment): can effectively relieve symptoms such as itching and pain;

- Phenolphthalein or ointment containing mint ingredients: helps to promote local blood circulation and help shrink hemorrhoids;

- Oral medications (such as diosmin tablets): improve venous return and reduce edema and inflammation around the anus.

3. Physical therapy and surgical treatment

If the lumps persist or the symptoms are severe, more advanced treatments may be needed. The following methods are commonly used:

- Injection sclerosant: Suitable for mild to moderate patients, it shrinks hemorrhoids by injecting drugs, but it requires professional doctors to operate;

-Hemorrhoid ligation: It is effective for more serious external hemorrhoids. It uses a rubber band to ligate the hemorrhoids, cut off the blood supply to the hemorrhoids, and make them fall off naturally;

-Surgical resection: For patients with severe or recurrent external hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoidectomy can be chosen. After the operation, the wound must be cared for strictly according to the doctor's instructions.

If the anal hemorrhoids affect your daily life, you can start by changing your diet and lifestyle, and use medication if necessary. When conservative treatment is not effective, or hemorrhoids continue to grow, you should see a doctor as soon as possible, choose appropriate treatment measures according to the doctor's advice, and follow the postoperative care recommendations. Regardless of which treatment method you choose, you must insist on long-term lifestyle adjustments to reduce the possibility of hemorrhoid recurrence. If you have bad bowel habits and an unhealthy diet, you may relapse even after treatment. It is recommended to maintain good eating habits and a regular lifestyle for a long time.
