The pain that diseases bring us is something that only patients can experience firsthand. In order to better treat various diseases, we need to understand the symptoms of the disease. Brain aneurysm bleeding is something you may have heard of. Let's take a look at the symptoms of brain aneurysm bleeding. Bleeding from cerebral aneurysms may cause focal neurological symptoms, while simple subarachnoid hemorrhage rarely causes focal neurological symptoms. However, ruptured aneurysms do not always cause subarachnoid hemorrhage, especially aneurysms on arterial branches, which can cause intraparenchymal hematomas. The neurological symptoms caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage are meningeal irritation, which is manifested as stiff neck and positive Kerberos sign. Brain edema or cerebral vasospasm may cause mental confusion, hemiplegia, hemianopsia, hemisensory disturbance, aphasia and pyramidal tract signs. Some patients may experience optic disc edema or subvital hemorrhage. A series of systemic symptoms may also occur after rupture and bleeding: 1. Increased blood pressure: After the onset of the disease, the patient's blood pressure often rises suddenly, which is often temporary and usually returns to normal after a few days to 3 weeks. This may be caused by bleeding affecting the hypothalamic center or increased intracranial pressure. 2. Increased body temperature: The temperature of most patients does not exceed 39°C, and is mostly around 38°C. Increased body temperature often occurs 24 to 96 hours after onset, and generally returns to normal within 5 days to 2 weeks. 3. Gastrointestinal bleeding: A small number of patients may have upper gastrointestinal bleeding, manifested as vomiting coffee-like substances or tarry stools. The bleeding affects the hypothalamus and autonomic nerve center, causing the gastrointestinal mucosa to expand and bleed. Patients may also experience increased blood sugar, glycosuria, proteinuria, leukocytosis, central hyperthermia, abnormal secretion of antidiuretic hormone, and electrolyte imbalance. We must carefully understand the symptoms of the disease so that we can better detect and treat the disease. For diseases like cerebral aneurysm hemorrhage, patients must pay attention and seek medical treatment in time to avoid greater harm. |
