What to do if hemorrhoids hurt

Hemorrhoids are a common anorectal disease, which is common in men and women who sit in the office for a long time. Due to the hidden nature of the disease, many patients cannot get faster treatment. As the disease worsens, it will cause more serious diseases. In severe cases, patients will have pale complexion, anemia, dizziness, and fainting due to long-term squatting. Patients are forced to take surgical resection as a means of curing the disease.

There are two ways to treat hemorrhoids: surgical treatment and drug treatment. Of course, surgical treatment has certain risks. Not only is the effect not obvious, but the recovery is slow. Therefore, many people will choose drug treatment to cure hemorrhoids. What are the types of drug treatments? Do they have a good effect on hemorrhoids?

Internal treatment: refers to the method of using internal medicine to treat hemorrhoids. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes the holistic concept and syndrome differentiation in the treatment of hemorrhoids, that is, on the basis of syndrome differentiation theory, different treatments are carried out for different causes, pathologies, disease locations, different constitutions, and ages. Traditional Chinese medicine adopts the specific treatment principles of purging fire and cooling blood, clearing heat and moistening dryness, dispelling wind and dampness, and replenishing qi, nourishing blood and consolidating hemorrhoids based on the pathogenesis that hemorrhoids are mostly caused by damp-heat, wind-dryness, and fire evil that injures the blood vessels, resulting in stagnation of qi and blood and forming lumps.

Suppositories: refers to the method of local anal administration. This method is more effective than oral medication. Since rectal local administration directly acts on the local hemorrhoids, it works quickly and has good effects. After the drug is absorbed by the rectum, it can directly enter the general circulation without going through the liver for detoxification. This reduces the damage of the liver to the drug and reduces the irritation of the drug to the liver. At the same time, direct rectal administration can avoid the damage of gastric acid and digestive enzymes to the drug, and also avoid the irritation of the drug to the gastric mucosa.

In daily life, you should eat more foods that are good for the intestines, such as bananas, drink more water, avoid sitting for long periods of time, and do some appropriate exercise to improve the occurrence of constipation.
