How to treat bleeding external hemorrhoids

How to treat bleeding external hemorrhoids?

External hemorrhoids refer to small fats that grow below the teeth line. Generally speaking, this type of hemorrhoids rarely cause bleeding, but this possibility cannot be ruled out. After all, there are blood vessels, veins and connective tissues in the area where they grow. It is not surprising that they bleed as long as they are squeezed. But in any case, bleeding from external hemorrhoids is just a physical change and will not be too serious.

According to the general rule, no matter what kind of hemorrhoids need to be treated in time, once delayed, the treatment will be difficult. But for the patient himself, when he encounters external hemorrhoid bleeding, he can stop the bleeding by himself, which can also reduce unnecessary trouble and harm.

The following are the methods to stop bleeding:

1. Medication

Hemorrhoids can be treated with hemorrhoid cream. If the patient finds that this method does not work at all, he should go to the hospital for examination and treatment immediately. Do some hemorrhoid skin disinfection surgery.

2: Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation

Correct operation method: empty the stool twice before sitting bath, clean the bathtub; pour the decocted Chinese medicine into the bathtub. When the water temperature is 80℃, it is best to fumigate. When the temperature cools to 40-42℃, sit bath to clean the anus; bath time is 20-30 minutes; twice a day, once in the morning and evening, or once before and after defecation; after sitting bath, clean the bathtub and put it in a cool and ventilated place.

3: Take Western medicine to stop bleeding

Western medicine has a fast hemostatic effect, but it is limited to hemostasis and cannot be used as a therapeutic drug. Common hemostatic drugs include hemorrhoid hemostatic pills, hemorrhoid hemostatic granules, etc.

Patients with ruptured and bleeding external hemorrhoids are best to go to the hospital for detailed examination and treatment. You may even consider surgical resection. Generally, patients should exercise more, drink more water, and keep the area around the anus clean. General treatment is needed, such as eating more fiber-rich foods, keeping bowel movements smooth, and injecting oil or suppositories containing anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs into the anal canal. Local surgical treatment is also possible.
