How to treat multiple breast cysts

How to treat multiple breast cysts

The treatment of multiple breast cysts should be determined based on the size, symptoms and nature of the lesion. Most benign cysts do not require special treatment, but if pain, enlargement or impact on life occurs, medical attention should be sought promptly.

Breast cysts are a common type of breast hyperplasia, usually manifested as fluid lumps in the breast. Their formation may be related to hormone fluctuations, emotional stress or lifestyle habits. They are mostly benign and do not have a tendency to become cancerous. Women may feel that the cysts are getting bigger or larger before and after the menstrual cycle, which is a manifestation of changes in hormone levels.

When breast cysts are small and asymptomatic, they usually only require regular monitoring, such as a breast ultrasound every six months to a year. If the cyst is large or accompanied by discomfort or tenderness, the doctor may recommend aspiration to remove the fluid in the cyst to relieve pressure and pain. Paying attention to reducing the intake of high-fat and high-sugar foods in your daily diet, maintaining a good work and rest schedule, and reducing emotional stress can also help control the occurrence and development of breast cysts.

If the symptoms are obvious or the cysts are highly dense, you should consult a breast doctor as soon as possible. Depending on the specific situation, ultrasound-guided aspiration or surgical excision can be used for treatment, and hormone level regulation can be carried out according to the doctor's advice. If persistent breast pain, local skin redness and fever occur, you should seek medical attention in time.
