Granulomatous mastitis is a chronic mastitis with granuloma as the main pathological change. The cause is not yet fully understood. Generally speaking, lumps are common. It is mainly a sudden breast lump in non-lactating women, which may be red, swollen, tender, and without fever. If the disease progresses further, abscesses, secondary erosions or ulcers will form, and the ulcers are often difficult to heal. Granulomatous mastitis is generally related to milk accumulation or Corynebacterium infection. Relevant treatment can be carried out according to different clinical manifestations, bacterial examinations and pathological examinations. Surgery, hormone therapy or anti-mycobacterial therapy can be performed. Immunotherapy can be selected if necessary. What is the method of clearing mastitis? When you massage mastitis by yourself, you should pay attention to the correct method and avoid violent pressing or squeezing to avoid damaging the breast or spreading inflammation and aggravating the condition. When massaging, first wash the breast with warm water, lift the breast with one hand, and rub the breast area with your fingers from the root of the breast with the other hand, and gently massage the nipple. The force gradually increases from light to heavy, but it should not be too strong. Gently press the direction of the milk duct to gradually push out the deposited milk. After about 10 times, use the four thumbs of your fingers to pull the nipple upward to expand the milk duct of the nipple, and finally use the thumb and four fingers to push from the root of the breast to the nipple to discharge the milk. What medicine is good for mastitis? Mastitis is one of the common breast diseases, which is more common in breast trauma or lactating women. Due to inflammatory stimulation, mastitis lumps or breast abscesses may form, and anti-inflammatory treatment is needed as soon as possible. If it is only a mild breast inflammation, you can take antibiotics to fight inflammation. According to clinical experience, cephalosporin antibiotics are often taken. If a local abscess is formed, on the one hand, surgery is required to remove the abscess and drain the pus, and on the other hand, intravenous antibiotics are required. After the condition stabilizes, oral antibiotics can be used instead. When treating with anti-inflammatory drugs, you can choose some drugs that promote blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis, such as Panax notoginseng, Xuefu Xueyu Capsules, etc., to help improve local symptoms and promote recovery from the disease. |
