What kind of people are prone to anal sinusitis?

The risk of developing anal sinusitis is usually closely related to personal living habits, physical condition and external environment. People with long-term constipation or diarrhea, sedentary professionals, irregular diets or those who like to eat spicy food are more likely to be at high risk. The occurrence of this disease is mainly caused by inflammation and infection of the glands in the anal sinus after being stimulated by the outside world.

From a genetic perspective, there is no obvious genetic predisposition for anal sinusitis, but people with low immunity may be more susceptible to external infections. Environmental factors such as long-term exposure to humid, high-temperature environments, or people with poor personal hygiene habits are more likely to cause bacteria to grow in the skin and glands around the anus. Physiological problems such as chronic constipation and diarrhea often lead to repeated friction in the anal canal or incomplete defecation, which causes the anal sinus to be in a state of tension and pressure for a long time. High-fat, high-sugar eating habits will also increase the chronic inflammatory burden in the body. Traumatic factors, such as injuries, tears, or improper medical operations in the anal area, may also cause infection and further induce inflammation.

For the treatment of anal sinusitis, local cleaning and medication can be selected. Warm water sitz bath can improve local blood circulation and relieve inflammation. The use of antibiotic ointments such as mupirocin cream or chloramphenicol ointment can effectively control bacterial infection. For moderate and above diseases, outpatient incision and drainage treatment can be considered to remove the source of infection for pus accumulation. In terms of diet, dietary fiber should be supplemented in moderation, such as celery and oatmeal porridge, to prevent constipation, and spicy and irritating foods should be avoided. For exercise, gentle hip stretching and brisk walking can be selected to promote local blood circulation while strengthening physical fitness.

Maintaining the health of the anal sinus area requires not only early detection and treatment of anal sinusitis, but also protective prevention in daily life. Pay attention to keeping the anal area clean, develop regular bowel habits, avoid sitting for long periods of time and preferring "heavy tastes" in your diet. If persistent pain or pus discharge occurs, seek medical attention in time and do not treat it on your own to avoid worsening the condition. Scientific intervention can gradually restore the body to health while also avoiding unnecessary psychological burden.
