What is the interventional embolization treatment for cerebral aneurysms?

If an aneurysm occurs in the brain, it must be treated in time. Of course, people are also concerned about its treatment method. Let's take a look at what is the interventional embolization treatment method for cerebral aneurysm?

There are differences in the treatment of aneurysms in different locations. The main treatment methods are surgical treatment, endovascular aneurysm repair, and aneurysm embolization. The surgical principles are aneurysm resection and arterial reconstruction. Reconstruction methods include arterial repair, arterial patching, and end-to-end arterial anastomosis.

Endovascular repair is a procedure in which stents are placed inside the lumen of a blood vessel to repair an intracranial aneurysm. This treatment method causes little wound damage and is effective, but the indications must be strictly followed. For some visceral aneurysms, coils can be used to form a thrombus inside the tumor to prevent further bleeding.

The general nutritional requirements after aneurysm surgery are high energy, high protein, high vitamins, low fat, and easy to digest. Dietary conditioning is generally divided into the following four stages.

In the first stage, patients start with clear liquid food, such as rice soup, lotus root powder, fruit juice, degreased meat soup, egg drop soup, etc.; after 1-2 days, the second stage begins as the condition stabilizes, and liquid food is changed to milk, soy milk, yogurt, steamed egg soup, etc.; if there is no adverse reaction after eating, the third stage can be entered, and semi-liquid food or semi-liquid food with less residue can be changed to longxu noodles, thin noodles with vegetable leaves, egg drop porridge, small wontons, bread, small cakes, steamed cakes, vegetable puree, liver puree, etc.;

After 5-6 days, the patient can enter the fourth stage and change to soft or ordinary meals. At this time, the patient can eat some soft dishes made of meat, such as fish fillets, meatballs, shredded chicken, etc. Do not eat fried foods. The staple food can be soft rice or steamed buns.

Therefore, now that we have an understanding of the treatment methods of interventional embolization for aneurysms, it is recommended that we also pay attention to care after surgical treatment and try to eat lighter foods, which will help the patient's physical recovery.
