Are breast cysts common?

Breast cysts are usually small cystic structures formed by the accumulation of fluid in the breast lobules or ducts, which may be affected by hormone fluctuations. For example, the cyst may be more obvious before menstruation and will decrease after menstruation. However, it should be noted that in a few cases, breast cysts may coexist with other breast problems, so persistently enlarged lumps or abnormal breast symptoms should not be ignored.

In daily life, it is particularly important to maintain a healthy diet and schedule, avoid stimulating foods such as large amounts of sugar and caffeine, and consume more fresh vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in dietary fiber. If the cyst is so large that it affects your life or causes discomfort, you can choose to undergo fluid extraction under the guidance of a doctor. If necessary, consult a breast doctor to arrange for an examination, including breast color ultrasound or mammography, to ensure safety.
