Category 2 breast cystic hyperplasia is usually not serious and is a benign change, indicating mild tissue abnormality or hyperplasia. However, regular follow-up is required to monitor changes in the lesions and avoid potential risks. Breast cyst hyperplasia refers to benign lesions of breast tissue under the action of hormones. According to the breast imaging grading system (BI-RADS classification), type 2 lesions are usually benign, and about 97% of cases will not develop into malignant tumors. The reasons may be related to hormone level fluctuations, genetic factors and lifestyle. In terms of clinical manifestations, most patients with type 2 breast cyst hyperplasia have no obvious symptoms, and some people may experience breast pain or local discomfort, especially before and after menstruation. For type 2 lesions, surgical treatment is generally not required. Routine imaging follow-up is usually the main recommended management method. B-ultrasound or mammography examination every 6-12 months can effectively track the dynamics of the lesions. In order to reduce the possibility of further development of breast cysts, the following measures can be taken: maintain a regular work and rest schedule, reduce staying up late and mental stress; avoid high-fat and high-sugar foods in the diet, and eat more fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants; appropriate aerobic exercise such as brisk walking or yoga can help balance hormone levels. If breast pain is obvious, oral vitamin E or γ-linolenic acid nutritional supplements can be used under the guidance of a doctor to relieve symptoms, and hormone regulating drugs can be taken when necessary. Regular check-ups are very important. Once a lump is found to be enlarged, hardened, or accompanied by abnormal secretions, you should seek medical attention in time to eliminate the risk of malignancy. |
