Can breast cysts be treated with breast milk?

The size and symptoms of cysts vary from person to person, and some people may feel more discomfort before their menstrual period, which is related to the fluctuation of estrogen levels. Even during lactation, breastfeeding may relieve the burden on breast tissue, but it cannot change the existence of cysts. If the cysts are improperly squeezed, they may even cause problems such as mastitis due to bacterial infection.

Benign breast cysts can usually be managed by observation, extraction of cystic fluid, or surgery when necessary, while inflammatory or pathological cysts may require further intervention. When breastfeeding, avoid squeezing your breasts too hard, pay attention to breast care, and check your breast health regularly.
