What causes water discharge from hemorrhoids?

There are many reasons why hemorrhoids discharge water. Hemorrhoids are varicose veins. Generally speaking, when abdominal pressure increases or constipation occurs, it is easy to cause hemorrhoid swelling, poor venous return, and venous congestion. If the hemorrhoids are more serious, as the abdominal pressure increases, the hemorrhoids will rupture and bleed. When the abdominal pressure increases, mucus will also be secreted, and the mucus will flow out along the rectum and anus. If the symptoms are mild and the mucus outflow is small, conservative treatment can be performed. If the symptoms are more severe, mucus often flows, and the amount is large, surgical treatment should be performed.

The main symptoms of hemorrhoids:

1. The main symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are bleeding in the stool or hemorrhoids protruding from the anus. Generally, there are no symptoms, but in severe cases, thrombosis, infection or incarceration may occur, accompanied by pain.

2. The main symptoms of external hemorrhoids are anal discomfort, moisture, itching, and perianal skin tags. If thrombosis or inflammation occurs, it may be accompanied by severe pain.

3. Mixed hemorrhoids have symptoms of both internal and external hemorrhoids. Generally, they are the result of gradual aggravation of internal hemorrhoids. When fleshy hemorrhoids develop to grade II or above, mixed hemorrhoids will form.

Causes of anal discharge:

1. If the water that flows out is like sweat and has no smell, consider that the anus may be wet.

2. If the water flowing out is fecal water, it is generally considered to be anal fistula.

3. If there are small bumps or lumps outside the anus, they are usually considered to be perianal cysts.

4. If the anus is very painful during defecation, there is bleeding and constipation, consider anal fissure, an early stage of anal fistula.

5. If you find that the hemorrhoid area is always leaking water, you should pay attention to it, because hemorrhoids generally do not leak water. It is recommended to go to the anorectal department of the hospital for examination to rule out other intestinal diseases and receive timely treatment.
