What causes internal hemorrhoids? Do internal hemorrhoids hurt?

Because everyone has a normal anal cushion structure, the most fundamental reason is their own physiological function, and the blood vessels are very rich, so internal hemorrhoid bleeding is a normal phenomenon. In addition to their special position, poor diet, life, and bowel habits, often staying up late, drinking, eating spicy food and other reasons can lead to the occurrence of hemorrhoids. The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is painless intermittent blood in the stool. With the increase of hemorrhoids or acute thrombosis, it will be painful when the hemorrhoids fall off. But pay attention to the symptoms of painless bleeding and distinguish the manifestations of hemorrhoids or rectal cancer, because rectal cancer will also have bright red blood and no pain, especially for people over 40 years old, they should go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis in time.

What causes internal hemorrhoids?

The most common cause of internal hemorrhoids is the body's own anatomical factors, because everyone has a normal structure called anal cushions, which have important physiological functions, so everyone will have hemorrhoids, but there are reasons for the occurrence, onset and development of hemorrhoids.

Whenever I encounter a consulting patient, I suggest reviewing his diet and lifestyle habits first. Bad habits such as staying up late, drinking, eating spicy food, and poor bowel movements, and not squatting on the toilet for a long time, these factors often lead to the occurrence of hemorrhoids. Sitting for a long time can lead to the occurrence of hemorrhoids due to pelvic pressure and excessive fatigue.

Do internal hemorrhoids hurt?

Internal hemorrhoids grow on the dentate line and are controlled by the autonomic nerves. They are painless, so they are generally not painful. The most common symptom of internal hemorrhoids is bleeding or painless intermittent blood in the stool. When acute thrombosis occurs, hemorrhoids will increase, and every time the stool falls off and gets stuck at the anus, there will be pain and contact tenderness.

If there are bleeding symptoms, it is important to distinguish whether it is occasional bleeding or frequent bleeding, and whether it is internal bleeding or rectal cancer, because rectal cancer is painless and the bleeding is bright red. If there is frequent bleeding, especially if you are over 40 years old, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination to determine whether it is hemorrhoidal bleeding.
