Breast cyst type 2 dietary taboos

Breast cyst type 2 dietary taboos

Patients with breast cysts need to avoid high-fat, high-sugar foods and foods containing hormones or promoting hormone secretion in their daily diet. These foods may have a negative impact on breast health.

Breast cysts are a common benign breast disease caused by cystic degeneration of the breast glands, usually manifested as single or multiple soft, well-defined lumps in the breast. Although most cysts themselves pose little threat to health, certain bad eating habits may aggravate symptoms or affect cyst healing.

High-fat foods (such as fried foods, fatty meat, etc.) may increase the synthesis of estrogen in the body, and the formation of breast cysts is related to high estrogen levels. Excessive intake of sugar (such as desserts, beverages, etc.) may also lead to weight gain, thereby indirectly increasing hormone levels in the body. Foods containing exogenous hormones (such as certain poultry or fast-growing animal products) or foods that may interfere with the body's endocrine balance are also considered to be minimized.

In terms of diet, it is recommended to choose more high-fiber and low-fat ingredients, such as whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, which can help regulate the hormone balance in the body. A moderate intake of nuts rich in vitamin E (such as almonds and walnuts) and fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids can help relieve breast discomfort. In terms of cooking methods, steaming, boiling, and stir-frying are recommended as much as possible, rather than frying or pan-frying. At the same time, maintaining a good work and rest schedule and exercising moderately can also contribute to overall health.

Diet cannot completely replace medical intervention. If the cyst causes discomfort or grows rapidly in a short period of time, you should seek medical evaluation as soon as possible. A healthy diet and good lifestyle can provide important support for breast health.
