How long to have sex with breast cyst

Whether breast cysts affect sexual intercourse and the timing of the relationship depends on the severity of the condition. Usually, patients with mild symptoms are not restricted, but recovery should be appropriately delayed after severe symptoms or treatment.

Breast cysts are a relatively common benign lesion, usually caused by fluctuations in hormone levels, blocked breast ducts, or local inflammation. When the symptoms are mild and not accompanied by obvious pain or inflammation, normal married life is usually not affected. However, if breast cysts are accompanied by severe pain, cyst rupture, or purulent inflammation, it is recommended to suspend sexual intercourse to avoid aggravating the condition due to mental stress or changes in body position. For patients who have just undergone puncture drainage, drug treatment, or surgical resection, since the wound needs to heal and local tissues also need to avoid traction and stimulation, it is recommended to rest for at least 1-2 weeks and consider sexual intercourse after the body recovers. Patients with breast cysts often experience worsening symptoms with changes in the menstrual cycle, so sexual intercourse should be avoided when the breasts are highly sensitive during the menstrual period.

To reduce the risk of recurring symptoms and worsening of the disease, you need to pay attention to regular work and rest, avoid high stress, keep a light diet, and eat more green vegetables rich in vitamins, such as broccoli and spinach, to help regulate hormone levels in the body. Drinking foods containing phytoestrogens such as soy milk and flax seeds may be beneficial for some patients. It is recommended to avoid excessive intake of alcohol and caffeine to reduce breast stimulation. If the breasts continue to be swollen and uncomfortable or the cyst is suspected to be enlarged, you should go to a regular hospital for a breast examination as soon as possible to clarify the diagnosis and treatment plan.
