Breast cysts generally do not transform into nodules directly, but the two can exist at the same time, and the health risks need to be judged based on the nature of the lesion.

Breast cysts and nodules are two different types of lesions. Cysts are sac-like tissues containing fluid and are usually benign. Nodules are localized solid or mixed hyperplasia of tissues and may be benign or malignant. If some breast lesions are affected by hormones for a long time or are not treated in time, pathological changes may cause new tissue structure changes, so regular monitoring is required.

In daily life, if you feel a lump in your breast, you can observe whether there is pain, uneven hardness, changes in menstrual period, etc. Cysts are usually soft and mobile; nodules are hard and may have unclear boundaries.
