What causes osteoporosis in 30-year-old women?

The cause of osteoporosis in 30-year-old women may be related to lifestyle, eating habits, hormone levels and other factors. Although osteoporosis is more common in middle-aged and elderly people, young women may also be affected early due to certain problems, which should be taken seriously.

Osteoporosis is defined as a decrease in bone density and weakened bone strength, which makes fractures more likely. Women's bone health is closely related to the level of estrogen in the body, which plays an important role in maintaining bone mass. Bones should be strongest around the age of 30, but certain conditions can accelerate bone loss, such as estrogen disorders, endocrine diseases, or long-term abuse of hormone drugs. Lack of calcium and vitamin D, sedentary lifestyle habits, smoking and drinking, etc., can weaken bone health.

In the diet, calcium is the "brick of bones", and vitamin D is the "courier" that helps transport calcium. If you do not consume enough dairy products and green leafy vegetables in your daily diet, or if you do not spend enough time outdoors, calcium cannot be fully absorbed and bone density will slowly decrease. Bones also need "stimulation" to be strong. A life that lacks exercise will reduce the power of bone cells to synthesize new bones. If you do not "build" your bones well when you are young, any bone loss later in life will appear more serious.

In daily life, it is recommended to start with diet, take in enough calcium and foods rich in vitamin D every day, such as milk, fish, egg yolks, etc., and maintain adequate sunlight exposure. Doing weight-bearing exercises at least 3 times a week, such as brisk walking, skipping rope or light weightlifting, can also help strengthen bones. At the same time, quitting smoking, limiting alcohol, and avoiding sugary drinks can better protect bone health. If you find yourself experiencing persistent bone pain, fractures during small activities, etc., you should go to the hospital for a bone density test as soon as possible and seek the advice of a professional doctor.
