Breast tumors and cysts are not the same. Breast tumors are benign tumors formed by abnormal proliferation of breast tissue cells, which are common in young women; while breast cysts are cystic structures formed by fluid filling in breast ducts or breast alveoli, which are more common in middle-aged women. The two are not only different in causes, but also show different palpation characteristics and clinical treatment methods, but in most cases, both are benign lesions. The main cause of breast tumors is usually related to fluctuations in hormone levels, especially estrogen overstimulation of breast tissue, and genetic factors also have a certain influence. Breast fibroadenoma is the most common type, which appears as a movable mass with clear boundaries and a hard texture. Breast cysts are often caused by breast hyperplasia or duct blockage, and may be accompanied by periodic pain. They are soft, elastic, and mostly round in shape. Although both are often non-cancerous lesions, any breast abnormality should be taken seriously, especially if it is rapidly enlarged, fixed, accompanied by skin indentation or abnormal nipple secretion, and requires early medical examination. The treatment of breast tumors mainly includes observation and follow-up, minimally invasive surgical resection or microwave ablation under ultrasound guidance. If the cyst is small and asymptomatic, no treatment is required; but if the cyst fluid is large and the pain is obvious, puncture and fluid extraction can be used to relieve symptoms, and ultrasound can be used to monitor for recurrence. A healthy lifestyle is essential. It is recommended to eat a light diet and eat more foods rich in fiber and vitamins, such as dark green vegetables, whole grains, and carrots; reduce high-fat and high-sugar diets. Moderate exercise such as yoga and brisk walking can help regulate endocrine balance, and regular work and rest can reduce mental stress. Breast health is related to overall physical and mental health. Regular breast ultrasound examinations can detect potential problems early. More attention should be paid to self-management. Whether it is a breast tumor or a cyst, early detection and early intervention can effectively reduce the risk of further development. Caring for yourself, maintaining a good attitude, not being anxious when facing illness, and choosing scientific treatment methods are important prerequisites for maintaining health. |
