Breast cyst nodules symptoms

Breast cyst nodules symptoms

Typical symptoms of breast cysts and nodules include localized breast lumps, pain or tenderness, and some patients may experience breast tenderness or changes in the menstrual cycle. If a rapidly growing lump, persistent pain or abnormal nipple discharge occurs, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible to rule out malignant lesions.

Breast cysts and nodules are mainly caused by abnormal proliferation of breast tissue or fluid accumulation. They usually appear as palpable lumps, which may be soft or slightly hard in texture, mostly round or oval in shape, with clear boundaries and good mobility. Before menstruation, some patients may feel breast tenderness and the lumps may also become larger. Severe cases may be accompanied by abnormal nipple secretions, which are usually colorless, transparent or milky white, but if the secretions are bloody, you need to be particularly vigilant. A large number of cysts may cause overall enlargement or asymmetry of the breasts. Simple breast cysts or benign nodules usually have no significant systemic symptoms, while malignant lesions may be accompanied by systemic manifestations such as fever, fatigue or weight loss.

For the management of breast cysts and nodules, benign lesions generally do not require surgery, only regular follow-up. In terms of medication, you can try vitamin E supplements or Chinese medicine conditioning, such as Xiaoyao Pills to help relieve symptoms of swelling and pain. In terms of diet, it is recommended to reduce the intake of caffeine, fat and high-salt foods, and consume more fiber-rich fruits and vegetables. Moderate exercise such as yoga or brisk walking can help balance endocrine and relieve breast discomfort. If the cyst is large or accompanied by pain, puncture and fluid extraction can be performed for treatment, and regular follow-up is required after surgery. It is particularly important to maintain regular breast self-examinations and annual ultrasound examinations to detect potential problems early. If a lump is found to be rapidly enlarging, pain is intensifying, or accompanied by bloody secretions, you should seek medical attention in time to avoid delaying treatment.
