How to remove breast cysts

How to remove breast cysts

The method of removing a cyst depends mainly on the type, size, and location of the cyst. Some small, asymptomatic cysts may not require special treatment, while larger or symptomatic cysts may require professional medical intervention.

A cyst is a sac-like structure filled with fluid, gas, or other material that can be found on the skin, in an organ, or elsewhere in the body. They can form due to infection, blockage, trauma, or abnormal cell growth. Depending on where the cyst is, it may appear as a lump on the skin, or cause pressure or pain in an internal organ.

Small cysts that do not cause discomfort or complications can be managed through observation. Some cysts can resolve naturally over time, and skin cysts can be managed by trying to keep them clean and avoid squeezing or irritation; for cysts that are prone to infection, warm compresses can be used to relieve discomfort. If the cyst is located inside the body and is large, imaging tests (such as ultrasound or CT) may be needed to evaluate the situation, and the doctor may recommend treatment by draining the fluid or surgical removal.

To prevent the recurrence of cysts or avoid worsening of the condition, it is recommended to maintain good living habits, such as avoiding frequent squeezing of the skin, maintaining local hygiene, and avoiding repeated inflammation or infection. If the cyst becomes larger, red, swollen, painful, or otherwise noticeably uncomfortable, seek medical diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible to avoid further health problems.
