What are the symptoms of congenital heart disease?

When women take medicines or get infected with viruses at will during pregnancy, it is likely to cause abnormal fetal heart development. Especially in the early stages of pregnancy, infection with rubella virus can significantly increase the risk of congenital heart disease in children. After congenital heart disease occurs, children will also have many troublesome clinical symptoms.

1. Cyanosis: The child will continue to have cyanosis symptoms after birth, especially on the lips, nail beds, nose tip and other parts.

2. Heart noise: Most congenital heart diseases can hear noise, which is particularly loud and rough. When the condition worsens, it will be accompanied by chest tremors.

3. Poor physical strength: Due to poor heart function, some children with the disease have poor physical strength and are unwilling to participate in activities. After the activities, they easily feel tired and sometimes have symptoms of paroxysmal dyspnea. Sometimes they even faint suddenly when crying or defecating.

4. Prone to respiratory tract infections: Due to increased blood flow to the lungs, many children sometimes suffer from respiratory tract infections, which can further cause their heart function to fail, and heart failure can aggravate respiratory tract infections.

5. Heart failure: Some children have severe heart defects, clinically manifested by congestion of the pulmonary circulation, body circulation, and significant reduction in cardiac output. A careful observation will reveal that the child is pale, has difficulty breathing, has a fast heart rate, low blood pressure, and an enlarged liver.

6. Developmental disorders: Congenital heart disease can also cause developmental disorders in children, especially many children are thin and malnourished, which is more serious.

After children have congenital heart disease, they will have the above six symptoms. Many children will have purple symptoms due to this disease, and louder heart noises will be heard during examinations. Most sick children are also weak, too lazy to participate in sports activities, and are prone to respiratory infections. When parents find that their children have these manifestations, they need to receive treatment in time.
