What causes bone hyperplasia?

1. If it does not show these symptoms, but only proliferates forward and laterally without compressing the nerves, it is actually the body's self-protection, making the joints more stable. Therefore, bone hyperplasia itself does not require treatment and is not a disease. It is just a degenerative change and a gradual aging process of the human body. Some people experience it early, some late, but bone hyperplasia itself is not painful and does not require treatment.

2. The biggest reason for bone hyperplasia is age. Osteoporosis is generally caused by the degeneration of various organs and tissues in the body when people reach middle or old age. The human skeleton will also degenerate accordingly. Coupled with a series of reasons such as long-term strain in daily life, bone hyperplasia occurs.

3. Genetic factors. Among patients with thoracic vertebrae bone hyperplasia clinically, more than 30% of them have direct relatives suffering from this disease, which shows that bone hyperplasia is a disease with a certain degree of heredity.

Can bone hyperplasia be cured?

Generally speaking, most cases of bone hyperplasia do not require treatment. Treatment is only needed when it causes damage to the articular cartilage or produces compression and stimulation to the nerves and muscles. Most cases of bone hyperplasia can achieve relatively satisfactory results through conservative treatment. Surgical treatment will only be considered when the bone hyperplasia is more severe or conservative treatment is ineffective.

At the same time, you should take calcium tablets containing vitamin D or drink more milk, get some sun, and do appropriate aerobic exercise, such as swimming and cycling, all of which will have a therapeutic effect on bone hyperplasia.

In clinical work, we often encounter patients who say: The doctor said on the X-ray that I have bone hyperplasia, so can my bone hyperplasia be treated?
