Will kidney stones in the bladder cause heat in the bladder?

Kidney stones in the bladder usually do not directly cause bladder fever, but may cause difficulty urinating, urinary pain or bladder inflammation, which may cause patients to mistakenly feel "fever". If you have such symptoms, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible to identify the cause and take targeted treatment.

1 Why do kidney stones enter the bladder? During the flow of urine, kidney stones may enter the bladder from the kidneys through the ureters, especially stones with smaller diameters are more likely to enter the bladder. However, if the stones that enter the bladder are large, they may not be able to be discharged smoothly and remain in the bladder. The stones in the bladder wear the bladder wall, which can easily cause local irritation, pain and infection.

2. "Hot feeling" in the bladder may be a manifestation of inflammation: Bladder inflammation caused by stones may cause patients to feel local burning and discomfort, or accompanied by symptoms such as urinary pain, frequent urination, and hematuria. In case of bladder inflammation, infection may also cause systemic low-grade fever or local inflammation discomfort, but it is not "fever" in the physical sense.

3 How to relieve and treat:

Medical treatment: Your doctor may recommend antibiotics to treat bladder infection or inflammation caused by the stones, and pain relievers such as ibuprofen to relieve discomfort.

Stone fragmentation: For larger bladder stones, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) or transurethral bladder lithotripsy are often effective options.

Drinking water and adjusting diet: Drinking more water can help flush the bladder and help expel small stones. Reducing the intake of foods rich in oxalic acid, such as spinach and chocolate, can reduce the risk of further stone formation.

Stones staying in the bladder may cause potential risks. It is recommended to see a doctor as soon as possible to find out the specific situation and take professional treatment. In terms of prevention, the probability of stone recurrence can be greatly reduced by increasing the amount of water you drink, paying attention to diet adjustment and regularly checking urine.
