What are the symptoms of a fracture?

When bones are subjected to the same impact force, fractures or fractures may occur. Fractures often have some obvious symptoms, such as local pain and tenderness, and local swelling or bruising will continue to occur, and some may also have functional impairments. In the case of an impact, do not move immediately, and observing the wound is a very important task. There may be some unexpected impacts in life. When the impact force is too great, there may be bone damage. Fractures are a common condition, and there may be many typical symptoms that make us immediately realize that there is a problem with the bones. What are the symptoms of fractures?

1. Local tenderness or pain

Many people want to stand up immediately after falling or being hit by something. In fact, this is a very bad practice and may aggravate the injury. Especially for fractures, if you stand up immediately at this time, it will make you feel very painful. Generally speaking, in this case, there will be local tenderness or pain.

2. Local swelling or ecchymosis

When a fracture occurs, the local blood will definitely be greatly damaged, so the circulation will be greatly affected, so swelling is likely to occur. If there is severe bleeding from the fracture, ecchymosis will occur. Of course, if the situation is serious, it may cause muscle ischemia and hypoxia. In the most serious cases, it may cause muscle dysfunction. Once the impact is serious, you need to go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination immediately.

3. Local dysfunction

Bones are the most basic support for the human body. When bones are severely impacted, our support ability will be affected, so we will lose some corresponding mobility, so many tasks will be impossible to complete, and muscle reflexes may be caused by pain, so some limb functions will be greatly restricted, and we may even be unable to move at all.

Fractures need to be properly treated, and generally require the help of a doctor. It takes at least half a month to repair, but if the fracture is relatively bad, then the repair time may take more than a year. At this time, pay attention to care in life and don't be brave.
