Symptoms of varicose veins

Symptoms of varicose veins:

When patients have varicose veins, superficial veins tend to appear on the skin of the affected limbs and are higher than the skin. This condition can only be relieved when the patient rests his legs. At the same time, some patients' capillaries will dilate, causing blood to pool under the skin.

1. Symptoms of varicose veins

1. The appearance of veins

In the early stages of varicose veins, patients will stand on their feet and superficial veins will appear above the skin. But when the patient lifts his feet or lies flat, these veins disappear. Some patients will experience symptoms of calf soreness and leg fatigue, which require timely treatment.

2. Capillary dilation

After varicose veins occur, patients will experience telangiectasia and reticular vein dilation in the early stage. But strictly speaking, this is not true varicose veins, it will only affect the appearance of the body and does not require treatment.

3. Local skin redness

Varicose veins occur because of increased venous pressure caused by excessive blood deposition in the blood vessels. The pressure can cause blood to seep into the skin, which can easily cause the local skin to turn red and purple, or even black. The skin will lose elasticity and even become harder.

4. Calf edema

Some patients will have calf edema. Especially for patients who stand for a long time, due to excessive fatigue, calf edema will occur, and the edema can be eliminated after resting at night. And the sick foot will be thicker than the side leg, and some patients will have skin itching.

2. Causes of varicose veins

1. Standing or sitting for too long

Not only does standing often lead to varicose veins, but sitting often also causes blood to accumulate in the veins of the lower extremities. The blood does not flow smoothly. Over the years, it can cause damage to the veins.

2. Being too fat

This disease also occurs in many obese people. Because in obese people, many people have poor daily living habits, which can easily cause joint infection and inflammation, and can easily cause osteoarthritis. Excessive fat in the body can cause excessive venous pressure.
