Symptoms of acute proctitis

Symptoms of acute proctitis:

Acute proctitis is a common digestive tract disease. The main symptoms of patients are abdominal pain, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and fever. In acute diseases, systemic symptoms include fever and loss of appetite. Local symptoms include anal swelling, burning pain, frequent bowel movements, feces mixed with mucus and blood, urgency, poor urination, and frequent urination.

1. Viral infection: It has been confirmed that viral infection can cause benign and malignant tumors. Viruses can be seen in benign and malignant tumors, but it is difficult to study which virus is an inflammatory substance. Many viruses can induce inflammation and are widely present in nature, but they can cause inflammation under certain conditions.

2. Dietary factors: A high-fat, high-protein, low-fiber diet is associated with the incidence of proctitis. This is because high-fat foods can increase bile secretion and promote the growth of intestinal bacteria, while cholesterol and bile salts form unsaturated cholesterol under the action of anaerobic bacteria, such as the increase in deoxycholic acid and lithocholic acid. The increase in the amount of these two inflammatory substances promotes the incidence of proctitis.

3. Abnormal immune function: Abnormal human immune function, such as suppression of cellular immune function, is very common in patients. As the cellular immune response decreases, the incidence of inflammation increases. Suppression of cellular immune function is the main factor in the development of inflammation.

4. Family genetic factors: The transmission of genetic changes can be reflected in the family.

Treatment precautions for acute proctitis:

1 Conditioning: Rest in bed, pay attention to diet, eat nutritious, easily digestible, low-residue, non-irritating soft food, drink plenty of water; avoid eating shrimp, crabs, and drinking alcohol.

2 Avoiding anal sex can prevent proctitis from being transmitted through sexual intercourse; reduce the intake of caffeine, milk and high-fat foods. Artificially sweetened seasonings can reduce the incidence of proctitis. Studies have shown that colorectal ulcers are related to frequent consumption of the above foods; various stress relief methods such as yoga, Tai Chi and deep relaxation can also reduce the risk of proctitis. Studies have confirmed that under severe stress, it can cause inflammation of the intestinal lining and may cause inflammatory bowel disease.
