What are the symptoms of aortic arch pseudoaneurysm and what should you pay attention to?

Knowing the symptoms of aneurysms is helpful for timely detection, and early treatment is very important. So, what are the symptoms of aortic arch false aneurysm? What should you pay attention to when you have an aneurysm?

What are the symptoms of aortic arch pseudoaneurysm?

A false aneurysm is a partial rupture of an artery that is sealed by a blood clot or nearby tissue.

1. Symptoms

Generally speaking, as the aneurysm gradually increases in size, pain will occur, and its nature is deep drilling. Part of the thoracic aortic aneurysm is mainly in the upper chest or back, radiating from the shoulder blade to the left shoulder, neck and upper limbs. Abdominal aortic aneurysms mainly complain of lower back pain. If the intensity of the pain increases, it may indicate an imminent rupture, compressing the superior vena cava, pulmonary artery, trachea, bronchus, lung, left recurrent laryngeal nerve, esophagus and other adjacent tissues, which can cause superior vena cava syndrome, dyspnea, cough, asthma, and even secondary infection, hemoptysis, hoarseness, dysphagia, vomiting, etc. Aortic aneurysms can invade the vertebral body and compress the spinal cord to cause paraplegia.

2. Physical signs

Aortic arch aneurysm can feel abnormal pulse on the sternum, and a tough mass on the left side of the middle abdomen can be felt in the thoracic aorta. The pulse is obvious, and contraction noise can be heard in the tumor body. If the arch tumor affects the aortic root, the aortic valve will not close completely, and diastolic noise can be heard in the aortic valve area. If the superior vena cava is compressed, edema of the face, neck and upper limbs will occur.

What should I pay attention to when I have an aneurysm?

1. Eat a light diet.

2. Eat more green vegetables and fresh fruits.

3. Avoid eating foods that excite the nervous system.

4. Control calorie intake.

5. Limit fat intake.

6. Eat protein in moderation.

7. Eat more foods rich in potassium, calcium and low in sodium.

There are many symptoms of aneurysm, and they are quite serious. If you find similar symptoms in your body, it is best for you to go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid more serious consequences.
