What are the symptoms of early hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids are a common anal disease that can occur at any age, but the incidence rate increases gradually with age.

1. Early symptoms of hemorrhoids: blood in the stool: The main early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids include spurting bleeding, dripping bleeding, paper tape blood, etc. The blood is bright red. External hemorrhoids will not cause bleeding.

2. Painful pain: This is the main symptom of painful external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are painless when they are not inflamed. The initial symptom of hemorrhoids is painful pain, which often occurs when internal hemorrhoids are infected, incarcerated, and strangulated, often leading to severe painful pain.

3. Prolapse: The main symptom of middle and late stage internal hemorrhoids. The main reason is that the internal hemorrhoid nodules enlarge, causing the mucosa and submucosa to separate from the anal layer. During defecation, the early symptom of hemorrhoids is that the internal hemorrhoid nodules can drop below the dentate line and detach from the anal canal.

4. Itching: Repeated shedding of late-stage hemorrhoids can cause relaxation of the anal dilation muscles and increased secretions, leading to frequent moisture, itching and eczema at the anal edge. Severe cases can also cause friction pain and itching pain. Bleeding from internal hemorrhoids can also cause anemia, dizziness, loss of appetite, and dry stools, which is also one of the early symptoms of hemorrhoids.

Hemorrhoid bleeding has five distinct characteristics:

Bright red: Hemorrhoidal bleeding means that the blood flows directly from the blood vessels during defecation without retention, so it is bright red.

Large amounts: Do not underestimate hemorrhoidal bleeding. If continuous bleeding exceeds 10 days, it may lead to hemorrhagic anemia, so it must be treated promptly.

Cyclic: After a few days of continuous bleeding, it will stop for a long time and then recur. Of course, there are also long-term continuous bleeding, which requires clinical treatment to stop bleeding.

Dripping or spurting: There is dripping during defecation, and in a few cases there is spurting, which patients describe as water coming out of a tap.

No inclusions: It is pure blood without any mixture of feces or intestinal mucus.
