What causes synovitis?

Synovitis is caused by excessive obesity, long-term weight-bearing, local trauma, infectious factors, and immune factors, and should be examined and treated with a doctor.

1. Excessive obesity: For people who are overweight, joint strain is usually caused by increased joint burden, resulting in accumulation of synovial damage and synovial inflammation. Weight loss should be given, which can be achieved through diet and exercise.

2. Long-term weight bearing: For people who bear weight for a long time or engage in heavy physical labor, synovitis may also occur due to joint damage. Such patients should rest more, avoid long-term heavy physical labor, and improve symptoms.

3. Local trauma: Some patients may suffer from sprains, severe collisions, fractures, and surgical trauma, which may cause synovial rupture and bleeding, resulting in a large amount of effusion, which hinders lymphatic circulation and causes synovial inflammation. For local trauma, good care should be taken, such as keeping the area clean, using iodine solution, mupirocin ointment and other drugs for local anti-infection treatment, etc.

4. Infectious factors: Some patients may develop synovitis due to bacterial infection. The treatment mainly consists of analgesic and anti-inflammatory treatments such as ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, amoxicillin capsules, and cefixime tablets, which can improve the patient's symptoms.

5. Immune factors: Usually caused by abnormal immune function. The treatment mainly focuses on improving immunity. You can exercise more and strengthen your physical fitness.

For synovitis with mild symptoms, special treatment is generally not required and temporary observation is possible. When symptoms persist and are not relieved, you need to seek help from a professional physician. Physical or surgical treatment can be chosen to improve the patient's quality of life. The use of medications must be strictly in accordance with the doctor's instructions and should not be used privately to avoid adverse effects.
