How are brain aneurysms caused? What should you pay attention to?

The cause of an aneurysm is not fully understood. Causes of an aneurysm include:

1. Congenital factors

The thickness of the cerebral artery wall is two-thirds of that of the arteries of the same diameter in other parts of the body. There is a lack of tissue support around it, but the blood flow is large, especially at the bifurcation of the artery. The middle layer of the wall lacks elastic fibers and has less smooth muscle. Due to hemodynamics, the bifurcation is most susceptible to impact, which is consistent with the clinical findings that the bifurcation has the most aneurysms and prominent blood flow direction.

Cracks in the middle layer of the wall, embryonic vascular remnants, congenital arterial developmental abnormalities or defects such as internal elastic plate and middle layer dysplasia are important factors in the formation of aneurysms. Congenital arterial dysplasia can develop not only into saccular aneurysms, but also into fusiform aneurysms.

2. Acquired Factors

1. Atherosclerosis Atherosclerosis breaks and destroys elastic fibers in the arterial wall, weakening the arterial wall and making it unable to withstand huge pressure. Hardening leads to occlusion of arterial nutrient vessels and degeneration of the blood vessel wall. The age of 40 to 60 is the obvious stage of the development of arteriosclerosis, and it is also the age at which aneurysms are prone to occur, which is enough to illustrate the relationship between the two.

2. Infection Infected aneurysms account for about 4% of all aneurysms. Infections in various parts of the body can be carried through the blood in the form of small emboli and stay in the cerebral artery branches. A few emboli stay in the arterial bifurcation. Infection of the skull base bone, intracranial abscess, meningitis, etc. can also erode the arterial wall and cause infected or fungal aneurysms. Infected aneurysms are irregular in shape.

Patients should pay attention to eating some soy products in their daily lives, and avoid eating some high-fat, high-sugar, and high-salt diets. People should be especially calm and not always lose their temper. The more people lose their temper, the more likely they are to suffer from cardiovascular disease. Have a good mentality and be calm. Many people just look at life as easy.
