How to treat breast cysts

How to treat breast cysts

Breast cysts are usually benign diseases and do not require special treatment in most cases. If the cyst is accompanied by obvious discomfort or suspected lesions, you should see a doctor as soon as possible for professional evaluation and treatment.

Breast cysts are fluid-filled structures that appear in the breast glands, usually caused by hormone fluctuations, especially in women of childbearing age and around menopause. It may appear as a lump or tenderness in the breast, but many women have no obvious symptoms and are not easily detected. It is usually discovered through physical examination or ultrasound.

There are many ways to treat breast cysts, and the specific choice depends on the size, location, and severity of the symptoms. If the cyst is small and the symptoms are mild, regular inspection and observation can be performed; if the cyst is large or painful, needle aspiration can be used to relieve discomfort; if atypical symptoms are found, further imaging examinations or pathological analysis may be required. Symptomatic treatments such as avoiding a high-salt diet and adjusting work and rest schedules can also help relieve some symptoms.

It is recommended that women have regular breast examinations, eat a light diet, reduce stress, and exercise regularly. If you find abnormal breast lumps or pain, especially with rapid enlargement or local skin changes, you should go to a regular medical institution in time. Choose the appropriate diagnosis and treatment method under the guidance of a doctor.
