What causes appendicitis?

Appendicitis is a common disease that often causes physical pain to patients. Both acute and chronic appendicitis can cause umbilical cord or abdominal pain, sometimes lasting for hours, seriously affecting the patient's life and work. For appendicitis, we should take effective treatments, such as drug therapy, surgical treatment, etc.

1. Bacterial infection. Appendicitis may be caused by some bacteria or pathogens invading the human body. There are abundant and extensive lymphatic tissues on the wall of the appendix. After some bacteria invade the human body, they will enter the appendix through the blood circulation, causing some acute inflammation and abdominal pain symptoms. Usually, we should pay attention to personal hygiene, improve the body's immunity, and prevent bacterial infection from causing acute inflammation of the appendix.

2. Obstruction of the appendix cavity. Obstruction of the appendix cavity is the main cause of appendicitis. If the appendix cavity is disturbed by other factors, stenosis symptoms or obstruction occur, acute inflammation may occur, leading to appendicitis. For example, common obstruction of the appendix cavity can be caused by food residues, fecal stones, intestinal parasites, hair clumps or appendix damage.

3. Improper diet may also cause appendicitis. For example, often eating unhealthy and unhealthy foods, or liking to eat cold and irritating foods, may cause gastrointestinal dysfunction and affect the digestion and absorption of food. The blood circulation of the appendix is also affected, which provides favorable conditions for the invasion and infection of certain bacteria. Generally speaking, common pathogens that cause appendicitis include anaerobic bacteria and Escherichia coli. Patients with appendicitis should pay great attention to their daily diet. Some spicy foods are cold or irritating and should not be eaten. A light diet should be the main diet. Avoid aggravation of the disease due to improper diet. Patients can supplement more protein or vitamins to improve the body's immunity and improve appendicitis.
