What to do if hemorrhoids grow lumps

What should I do if I have hemorrhoids and lumps of flesh?

Hemorrhoids include internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and mixed hemorrhoids. If it is an internal hemorrhoid, the more common one is the connective tissue external hemorrhoid, also called the skin hemorrhoid, which is a piece of flesh growing on the outside. It is painless, itchy, and does not bleed, and generally does not require treatment. If the internal hemorrhoids prolapse, they should be treated accordingly according to the symptoms. If it is a varicose external hemorrhoid, it will bulge during bowel movements and dissipate after bowel movements, and no treatment is required. For acute thrombotic external hemorrhoids that may cause pain, the subcutaneous blood vessels suddenly rupture, a lump will appear, and the subcutaneous thrombus deposition will compress the nerves, causing pain. Local anesthesia can be used to remove the thrombus by peeling, and the pain will be relieved immediately.

Will the lumps in hemorrhoids disappear?

1. The lumps caused by hemorrhoids will not disappear. This is because hemorrhoids irritate the skin around the anus, causing tissue hyperplasia and forming lumps.

2. If hemorrhoids grow lumps and edema and pain symptoms occur, anti-edema and analgesic drugs should be used. Generally, after taking the medicine, the hemorrhoid lumps will gradually decrease, but they will not disappear.

3. Hemorrhoid patients must pay attention to avoid constipation or diarrhea, because constipation and diarrhea will lead to an increase in hemorrhoidal lumps.

Daily precautions for patients with hemorrhoids:

1. Usually, you should eat a light diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of water, avoid spicy food and food that easily makes you angry, and do not drink alcohol to avoid constipation and diarrhea.

2. Do proper exercise and activities every day, and avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time to avoid aggravating hemorrhoids by maintaining one posture for a long time.

3. Have regular bowel movements every day. The bowel movement time should not be too long. Avoid squatting on the toilet for too long, which will increase abdominal pressure and aggravate hemorrhoids.

4. Pay attention to keeping the anus clean and wash the anus with warm water after each bowel movement.
