What is the reason why hemorrhoids always prolapse?

Hemorrhoids are the most common type of anorectal disease and can be divided into three types: internal hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids, and mixed hemorrhoids. Among them, internal hemorrhoids are more serious and may prolapse, but they are also accompanied by pain, swelling, and even inflammation. The troubles brought to patients are relatively large. In order to get rid of the trouble of hemorrhoid prolapse, we need to understand the causes of hemorrhoid prolapse so that we can usually take corresponding preventive measures.

It is generally believed that hemorrhoids always prolapse due to the following reasons:

1. Bad bowel habits: If you have the intention to defecate, you should defecate in time to avoid the accumulation of feces in the intestines for a long time. Be careful to avoid reading, playing with mobile phones, etc. during defecation, otherwise it is easy to cause hemorrhoid prolapse.

2. Not paying attention to diet: Improper diet can easily lead to constipation. Constipation will make it too difficult to defecate, and the feces will rub against the rectal mucosa. Defecation of internal hemorrhoids can easily lead to hemorrhoid prolapse. Hemorrhoid patients should usually pay attention to avoid eating too well, not only eating starchy and fatty foods, but also eating some foods containing crude fiber and eating more coarse grains to prevent constipation.

3. Lack of exercise: If hemorrhoid patients usually lack exercise and gastrointestinal motility is too slow, the possibility of hemorrhoid prolapse will increase. We should do some appropriate exercise in normal times to promote gastrointestinal motility.

4. Relaxation of anal sphincter: With age, the anal sphincter will become more and more relaxed, especially for women who have given birth many times. The pelvic floor muscles are relaxed and weak, making them more prone to hemorrhoid prolapse.

5. Cough and diarrhea: If hemorrhoid patients have symptoms such as cough and diarrhea, abdominal pressure will increase, which may cause hemorrhoid prolapse.

Hemorrhoid prolapse not only brings inconvenience to the patient's life, but also causes infection, bleeding and even necrosis. Hemorrhoid patients must pay attention and try to stay away from these adverse factors that easily lead to hemorrhoid prolapse. You can do more pelvic floor exercises and take more warm baths.
